I just returned from a two week trip to Paris and the South of France. Needless to say I had a wonderful time and unexpectedly ended up totally rediscovering Paris, a city I used to loath, but which is now somewhere I'll be hanging at on the regular.
One of the best things about France is obviously the food. It was whilst on a shopping trip to Printemps that I discovered a concession of the famous Cafe Pushkin in Moscow. OMG, the cakes, the pirojki, the fruit compotes. The waitress did a little double-take as I ordered a Napolean, Medovik and every single perojok they had. Divine.
