Wet Plate Photography: Magical

Wet Plate Photography (collodion process) is one of the earliest photographic methods and dates back to the 1850s. It is quite a painstaking and labour intensive process as it requires the subject to stay still for a long period of time. Furthermore, there is quite a long exposure time.

However, for all its disadvantages the images that are produced are eery and haunting in their beauty.
